Geddes,
Systemic issues will not just disappear. Whether it’s systemic racism, union busting, delayed implementation of OSHA’s COVID-19 Emergency Temporary Standard, or anything else -- these obstacles will only be overcome when we are able to mobilize every AFGE member to overcome them.
But in order to mobilize the VA workforce to action, we need to make sure local leaders and union members have the resources and knowledge to succeed. That’s why on October 27th, we will be hosting a National Training Call to train local labor leaders and union members to mobilize on issues that are systemic at the VA.
National Training Call
“Mobilize To Fight; Fight To Win”
Wednesday, October 27

Click here to RSVPSystemic issues make it more difficult for us to deliver to top-of-the-line care that America’s veterans have earned.
Here’s the thing: we don’t have to accept this as our reality. We can remove these obstacles to care -- if VA workers nationwide have the tools they need to secure change.
Now more than ever, it is critical that AFGE-NVAC local unions understand how to mobilize their members to take action and create the momentum that improves workers’ lives. That’s why it is so critical that AFGE-NVAC members like you sign up to join in this critical training.Sign up now to reserve your spot for the October 27th National Training Call!
In solidarity,
NVAC Crisis Response Team
