NEW!! Free Tutoring Resource Available for Federal Employees with Children!The Federal Employee Education & Assistance Fund (FEEA) wants to help reduce parental stress and prevent potential learning losses for their children, and tutoring services is a remarkable way to catch students up caused by being unable to attend traditional school settings. Federal employees with a child in grades K-12 may be eligible for a free, online academic tutoring program for most K-12 subjects.
Expanded Child Care Subsidy ProgramVA’s Child Care Subsidy Program is a nation-wide program that assists lower income employees with the cost of child care services. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Program is temporarily increasing the total family income threshold from $89,999 to $144,000. This increase allows employees below the threshold to receive 25% of eligible child costs for lower income employee’s eligible children. Questions regarding this program can be directed to VACO05ChildCareSubsidy. Employees must use the Application Portal, for the application process, and additional information can be found at VA Child Care Subsidy Program.
