Less than a month before he died of Covid-19, Victor Sison posted photos of himself at the New Jersey nursing home where he had worked for many years. He was wrapped in what appeared to be garbage bags.

The day we’ve been warned about, the day we foresaw & created our E-dues process for, has come. The FLRA has ruled that going forward members will be able to stop the deduction of dues from their pay, & thus their membership, at ANY TIME after they have been a member for a year.

Today marks a major milestone in our fight for a fair contract: we are filing the defense of our proposal in the next contract for VA staff.

We filed our written submission in support of our proposals for the successor collective bargaining agreement.
